As announced at the 15th Annual Meeting, the EURL will offer a yearly training course in diagnostic techniques for identification of listed fish diseases.
The course will take place in the laboratories of the EURL in Aarhus most likely in the period between 23 January and 3 February (weeks 4-5) 2012.
NRL staff will have first priority to attend the course. NRL staff of the European Union will not be charged a course fee. Participants from other laboratories will be charged a course fee (around 1000 danish kr or 133 € per course day). All participants have to cover other expenses (travel, hotel, food etc.) themselves and a lunch/coffee fee of around 100 danish kr or 14 € pr day will be paid by all participants.
Last year four different modules were offered (see links below) and 22 persons attended one or more of these.
Please send me an email latest 15th September if you or someone in your laboratory are interested in receiving training in one or more of the attached modules or maybe a new subject. Depending on the wishes I receive from you a plan for this year’s training course will be made and a final registration form will be send out.
We hope to include all interested persons in the course as well as all requested topics. Last year we almost succeeded in this and hope to repeat it this year.
When we know how many people will attend the training course and in which topics we will make a detailed program where the dates for the individual topics will be specified. That means that the training in different topics will take place at certain days in the period between 23 January and 3 February and participants will not necessary have to stay in the laboratory for the whole period. The program will be send to participants for confirmation. The deadline for confirmation of participation will be around mid October.
